-> This is pure Quality!

Excellent compilation, and I love the way the tracks fade into each other.Great work..and as an A&R man would say "All Killer and no Filler!"

Can I make a suggestion? Spam this compilation to the IPA,
(Institute of Practioners in Advertising), because they
have all the top advert Advert Agencies, and their contact details..who's their creative directors, and music supervisers, etc. These agencies are always trying to source
new music for T.V. ads, and usually go to libraries, or to
hit records. They are always looking for something new, and
I feel that the artists on Faturenet have It.

It's my feeling that If you target top Ad Agencies, and
direct them to this compilation, and Faturenet in General,
then they will find the music to suit their latest Advert
campaign, for a big client. It's their job to find music
that no other agency has. The reward can be be good..a fee
for the licence to use the track, and performing rights
payments, every time the advert is used worldwide.

I've had some tracks used by Advertising Agencies in the past, and It's paid my mortgage. and It was because I targeted Advertising agencies, and spammed them.

If you target Advertising Agencies, then they will check out
the excellent artists here, and choose faturenet artists,
rather than Libraries. Again, just a suggestion!

Lovely compilation! Robert :)

-> Hi Again, Fature!

Again, loving this Album..and I've still got loads to learn,
compared to all the artists here. Very inspiring.

I've been brainstorming all day (too many cups of coffee!)
and following my suggestions on my previous comment, I've
got more to share, If I may.

there's the CRCA,(Commercial Radio Companies Association)
which is the industry body for all the commercial FM stations in the uk. You can get all the contact details of
the stations there, like names and e-mail addresses. they also tell what genre as well, so you can target better.
These stations look for music for their trailers, and usually source Music Production Libraries. A guy I know,
Ronnie Gurr(Who was CEO at Columbia Records, and CEO at
Branson's V2 Label), said to spam these stations, and offer
them a free licence to use your music for trailers, and then
you can get the performing rights money! They have to log
every instance they play your music, and pay a fee to the
performing rights society, who then pass it to you. Obviously, you have to join the PRS first, to do this.

Another route is Music Production Libraries themselves.
Google, and you'll find loads of them. You can submit your
work to them, and they can offer your music, by genre, to
T.V. and Film Music Supervisors looking for ,say,DnB, or
Ambient, or Glitch. They can then buy a Licence for a one-
off use of your track in an episode, known as a "Needle drop" licence, or if you're lucky, they may want to buy a licence to use your track as a theme, over a whole series.
And again, everytime It's aired, It has to be logged on a
cue sheet, and performing rights to be paid to you, because
you wrote the track.

Now, there's developers of Console and PC games. They're
always looking for music, to use in their games. A guy I
know, who was in Primal Scream, got one of his tracks used
in a console Game, and got paid £25,000! No shit! He got
paid a lump sum, because repeat fees or performing rights payments dont really apply to console games, because it
cant be logged, how many times your track is aired. So they
pay a big fee, for an unlimited licence.Again, do a search on Google for "Games Console Developers", and you'll probably find quite a few to contact.

It's probably pretty "Captain Obvious" to say this, that It's pretty hit or miss. But if you try these routes, you
may be in the right place at the right time, and someone
may want to use your work, and pay good money for It.

Example..The track I released here, "8-bit hookaz", I did
some research, and spammed It in Japan. And I got a response
from the Ad agency that does the Bullet Trains! they want to use It in their latest Ads. Sweet! They pay me a fee for
a licence, and I can get performing rights money everytime
It's aired on Japanese networks,Because I'm a PRS member.

I think that Faturenet Artists have got the music to turn
on the industry...and It takes 20% talent, and 80% perspiration to make something happen. i dont know about you,but I watch T.V. and films and think "I can do better
music than that!" there a lot people who are mediocre, but
get the jobs, because they put in the hours to promote to
the industry, and get known. So spam yer music, and you never know where It may lead. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.....

I've got another Mastering Job to Complete, so I'm on the
Graveyard shift! Sweet Dreams, Everyone.

Robert :)

I noticed the last tracks were chilled and the first tracks were beaty; I think that followed my mood very nicely!

-> A review from Recording Review

Really Liked "Infidel". "New Adventures. . ." was cool: Just me, but the bass centered the whole time, distracted me. Not sure what I would do. Move it a tiny bit to the right? "Chillin' in the Attic" took me to Soul Coughing, and I really like that, "Grave Circumstances" kept that same feeling and obviously? These are connected. Nice flow. "Creeper. . ." was really nice. I liked that the syncopated suprizes were in there.

Nice job of recording, clear and not busy.

Maybe I'll start another album later this year.

-> you could use that for your next title, Sevish!

did a job, in a restuarant, as a lowly kitchen porter. It was
a place that did scottish food ( Haggis, Venison, Salmon,Grouse, etc). It was burn's night, and they were having all the "great and good", mostly tory (Conservative)
Sirs and lords showing up that night. The owner asked me if I could do up a compilation tape of traditional scottish music, because I had access to a studio? I said "sure"..
But my rebellious streak kicked in! I did the tape, but the
tracks were at -10db! then I put in a suprise extra track,
at +4db. So all the posh buggers were having their burns'
supper, listening to lovely Ceiledh music, at normal volume,
then suddenly..they had Motorhead's "Eat the Rich" at full blast! I was ROFLMAO!! It ruined their evening!

I got the sack, but it was worth It..Robert ;D

-> I can picture it in my mind, the very moment of the first POW!! I can see all those people jump on their seats for fear, choking with food, and throwing their forks with meat up up and away... ... That was a risky idea:)

THE SEVENTH ACL ALBUM THIS IS WHO I AM OUT NOW. CHECK IT OUT.
"Pick'n'Mix 4.0" is on its way.

-> Hee Hee!

A joke, to do with restuarants...

A guy's on a date, with a lovely girl, and takes her to a top Beverly Hills restuarant. He spots Steven Spielberg, a few tables away!..and when Spielberg goes to the men's room, he follows him. He accosts him, and says " Mr. Speilberg, you're the best director on the planet, and I love your movies. Could you do me a massive Favour? Can you come across to my table, and pretend I'm an old friend of yours? My name's johnny..My date is so beautiful, and I need to impress her. Could you help me?"

Spielberg said "sure Johnny! Anything to help!" So later,
Johnny's talking To his gorgeous date..and then there's Spielberg, and he says "Johnny! Jeez! How are you, my old friend? It's been a while. Call me okay, and we can have lunch, with Lucas and Coppola!"

Johnny looked at Spielberg, and said " Fuck off Steve!!
cant you see I'm with my girlfiend?!!" ;P
