 | Um... ? I don't get it. Not to be offensive or anything, I just don't understand how you could groove to this. Plus it is very short and I feel it would be better if you equalized the car alarm sound so it doesn't overpower everything else. Just constructive criticism disguised as a douchebag comment. |
 | It all comes together when you listen to the whole album. |
 | I think the car alarm is the TS404 which I see as my rhythm guitar/bass with a higher pitched string.........The title is a mixture of Spanish and Catalan. Music for Joints (marijuana)and the house. It'll make more sense with a wee bit of smoke.......a mixed bag of tunes, sounding like a compilation album with no central thread just the knots of sound patterned in a coherent way, sometimes working out. Sometimes sketches of ideas which in themselves are legitimate and complete. Eclectic or random? As the drum machine of eternity reaches tentatively towards one of many infinities, a pattern may emerge.or something.... |
 | ps no groove intended except maybe "dark and delicious" and " gonna get betta" ???? |
 | Oh ok dude I gotcha now. Like I said I meant no offense. I will have to listen to more after a fat bowl. :) |
 | No offense taken, a fat bowl sounds good just now but have to go and work in a couple of hours. Gotta pay for the internet connection. |
 | Sound-art is a god description for this album, with all its squiggles, twists and turns. Modern Art Soundscapes are all together intriguing to me but not necessarily something in the forefront of my playlist.
Still I immensely enjoyed the world your album paints, props. |
 | Thanks Mr B. I don't think my tunes are "classical" music. I can't draw things, so I compensate with abstraction. The music I do, comes from the pretty pictures that I draw on Fruity Loops and the funny squiggles on Cool Edit Pro that emerge and I play about with. Sound Art is not my description, I think it's Lee's, but Abstract Sound Art it is. The tunes do grow on you with repeated and compulsive listening and the wee bits of musical mistakes re-wire the neural nets of the brain, altering reality forever........As the drum machine of eternity....etc |
 | Being really into experimental stuff, I quite liked this.. =) |
 | Thanx Hellscion, I quite liked it too.:-} |
 | heh, right on man. I'll be honest, the first track was a little harsh, made me feel like I was being mind-raped by carousel horses, but then it smoothed out.
This album did actually have a really consistant sound, and it was an interesting one at that. The songs sound like they're playing inside of your head.. like listening to a daydream or those thoughts of songs that go through your head that you'd seemingly never be able to put on track effectively. So yeah, brilliant in a way. Artistic.. |
 | Mr H. Fumares still grates in my mind and now I have the horses to contend with, are they still on the carousel spinning faster out of control for 2mins 43secs? Abstraction will be my epitaph, the little bits of ephemera normally occluded by the biological need to maintain a sense of coherence in this reality thrust into the ears by carousel horses........Where are the smileys when you need 'em? Especially the one with the tongue firmly in cheek. |
 | haha, it was really just the first few seconds of the first song. But I think that as fature said, this album should be taken in as a whole.. and every small detail adds to this. Again though, nice work man :) |
 | @ Hellscion thanks.........BIG smiley..... |
 | Finally had the time to listen to this album. There are actually some tracks to dance to for me, for instance 03.music proper musica finito. I really like some of the atmospheres you created with bleeps, brass sounds, like in 11.doon, some kind of threatening atmosphere. Other highlights for me are 04.Orgoneic finito desuka (good experiment :), 07.dark 'n delish FINISHED (like the beat, bass and voices), 08.SONG from mw (cool track with tough beat), and 14.Mix Down (feels like being hunted!). I experienced this as an experiment wich was quite entertaining. |
 | Thanks for your comments Mr. Waverine. I did most of the tracks in Girona 2and a halfish years ago. All the music I do is an experiment using the wonders of computer technology. Thanks for listening and thanks for the comments..Much appreciated... ;-} |
 | Just loved my own album..........well .. .. ? |
